During my time spent at the Savannah College of Art and Design, I met a very spunky girl by the name of Wanju Chu. I politely asked her if she would be willing to send me reference photographs of herself, taken from the front and side profile, so that I may model her in Blender. The 3-D model will then become the ethereal and graceful Grey, who is the most beautiful and illustrious girl in “Feel Good Candy.”
Welcome. This is the official website of Minter Tweed, where he scribbles down bizarre yarns about candy kids, hipsters, and other useless things.
Omega.
I have been conversing with a very nice fellow by the name of OmegaDubstep (Chris Cox) on SoundCloud. He was generous enough to give me permission to use his song “Burn” (released by MalLabel Music) for my Kickstarter project. This song embodies the devil-may-care attitude that “Feel Good Candy” is all about. It uses sound samples from the most recent Batman film, “The Dark Knight,” and various other sound effects like a gun cocking/firing and breaking glass. It is soothing to my sound pallet, as far as dubstep is concerned.
Cottage.
No one would know this other than me and the people I confide in, but the design of this website is inspired by one of the many locations in my series of dark fantasy novellas, “Gloom.” The location is called the Moth Cottage. It is essentially a Victorian home that is situated in a wooded area and it takes on a sort of personality. And if you were wondering, the image at the end of my blog entries is indeed a moth and not a butterfly.
Miwa.
I have always known her as Miwa Gemini. I originally met her in Savannah, Georgia several years ago. I then saw her perform for a second time in Atlanta this past year. She is a soft spoken woman with fierce lyrics and a hint of the blues. When I first created the official Facebook page for “Feel Good Candy,” she was one of the first people to like it. So, naturally, I asked her if I could use her song “Chanson” from her latest album, “Fantastic Lies of Grizzly Rose,” for my Kickstarter project and she kindly obliged.
Pink!
I have been pondering this for quite some time. I recently got a partial Mohawk (the stylist called it an Eurohawk, but I now know that it is actually called an undercut) and my friend and I bleached my hair in two separate sessions and then we eventually dyed it pink. It is not an aggressive pink, but more like a soft, salmon pink (because we could not get all of the yellow out of my hair). Do you think this will look appropriate for my Kickstarter project? I guess we will see. Oh, and I also shaved my eyebrows. I feel rather dapper.
Carroll.
Do not misconstrue this entry. While I was reading a biography about Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (also known by the pseudonym “Lewis Carroll”), the author states something that rings very true in my writings as well: “For him, [...] female children embodied the essence of romance: he admired their natural beauty; he valued their spontaneous utterances; he treasured their untrammeled innocence; and he devoted his time, energy, and imagination to amusing and edifying them.” I believe that the romanticized nubile female is a subject worth studying.
Savannah.
By the time you read this, I will be in Savannah, Georgia in the company of very good friends. Never underestimate the relationship you have with your friends. They become invaluable in your time of need. And right now, I need a roof over my head and my friends have obliged to provide one. That is all for now.
Blender.
My first introduction to 3-D modeling was with a trial version of Alias Maya. In college, I was taught Autodesk 3ds Max. Then, the Savannah College of Art and Design decided that Autodesk Maya was the lesser of two evils, so I simply reverted back to what I already knew. Now that I am out of college, I can not afford Autodesk Maya. The solution: Blender, an open-source 3-D content creation suite. After using Blender for the past several weeks, I am officially announcing that I will be using Blender for my 3-D endeavors.

Introduction.
Who is Minter Tweed? The name “Minter Tweed” is a pseudonym I have adopted for my creative endeavors as an author and illustrator. I am a computer graphics generalist with a proclivity for writing. My favorite word is “befuddled.” Fall into a cloud-carried tomorrow, my poppets.
